Professional Counseling Services

Counseling sessions fluctuate depending on the personality of individuals and the particular concerns to be addressed.  Having over 15 years of experience allows me to use a number of different approaches to assist in reaching the identified goals.  In order for therapy to be most successful, you will be asked to work on things discussed both during our sessions and at home.

In discussing different aspects of life there are both benefits and risks.  Risks sometimes include experiencing uncomfortable feelings such as; sadness, guilt, anxiety, anger, and frustration.  Therapy has been shown to have positive benefits often leading emotional regulation and improvements in relationships.  There are no guarantees that you will experience positive benefits however it is the goal of the therapy process.

The first session is an informational gathering process including past & current history wherein treatment goals start to be formed.  By the end of this initial session, I will be able to offer you some impressions of what our work might include if you decide to continue.
